With the theme "Kulturang Pinag-isa ng Bayang Pinagpala", the Municipality of Kalamansig in the Province of Sultan Kudarat is set to showcase their rich culture and traditions and celebrate the town's bountiful blessing with Salagaan Festival 2017 this July.
"Salagaan" is a Monobo term for a log drum which is played during festive occasions and in agricultural rituals.

How to go to Kalamansig
Kalamansig is one of the three coastal Municipalities of the Province of Sultan Kudarat which is approximately 145 kilometers away from Isulan, the capital town. The town is accessible to almost all types of vehicle.
There are vans that travels daily to Kalamansig from the City of Cotabato and Tacurong City. Fare is at P350 per person.
Travel time is 3-4 hours.
